Just One Chesed

Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These terms apply to chesedcampaigns.org, run by Just One Chesed, a US 501(c)(3) charitable organisation (EIN 47-5615860). By registering, donating, or creating a fundraising page you agree to them.

Fundraising pages

When you register, we create a public fundraising page for you. You are responsible for what you put on it — your text, your photos, and how you describe what you are raising money for. Do not post anything unlawful, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights, and do not use anyone else's photographs without their permission.

You may not create a page, a team, or a display name that suggests it is operated by Just One Chesed itself, or by any other organisation, when it is not.

We may remove a page, or cancel a registration, if it breaches these terms. We will tell you why.

Donations

Donations are made to Just One Chesed, not to the individual fundraiser. A fundraising page shows who you are supporting, and the money reaches us directly — a participant never holds or handles it.

Donations are final and are generally not refundable. If a donation was made in error, contact us at info@justonechesed.org and we will consider it; refunds are at our discretion.

Donations are applied to our charitable work. Where a donation is made through a particular campaign, we apply it to that campaign's purposes, but we retain discretion over the use of all funds as charity law requires.

Where you choose to cover the payment processing fee, that amount is added to your gift and is part of the total you are charged.

Tax receipts

We issue a receipt for donations that qualify. Just One Chesed is a US 501(c)(3) organisation and no goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution unless the receipt says otherwise. Whether a donation is deductible depends on your own circumstances and where you pay tax; please consult your own tax adviser.

Registration fees and fundraising commitments

Some events charge a registration fee. Fees are paid at the point of registration and are not refundable once the registration is confirmed, unless we say otherwise for a particular event.

Some events ask participants to commit to raising a minimum amount and to provide a payment card to guarantee it. If you make such a commitment, you are authorising us to charge that card for the shortfall between your commitment and what you have raised, after the fundraising deadline for that event. You will be told the amount and the deadline before you agree, and we will tell you before we charge you. Your liability is capped at the amount you committed to.

Your account

We sign you in by emailing a link rather than with a password. Keep access to your email account secure — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us at info@justonechesed.org if you think someone else has access to your account.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available but cannot guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw parts of it.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.

Events

Participation in a physical event — a marathon or similar — is governed by the event organiser's own rules, entry requirements and waivers, which are separate from these terms. Meeting our registration requirements does not guarantee the organiser will accept your entry.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post any changes on this page with the date above.
