Do I need to pay a registration fee?

No there is no registration fee but by registering you are agreeing to meet your fundraising commitment by March 19th 2027. If you raise less than that amount, Just One Chesed will charge the difference to your payment method on file. If you cancel before December 17th 2028, Just One Chesed will only charge $180 to your payment method on file and waive your fundraising commitment.

What is the distance of the race?

There are 5 different race options: 1) Family Run 2) 5km (minimum age: 10 years old) 3) 10km (minimum age: 14 years old) 4) Half Marathon 21.1km (minimum age: 16 years old) 5) Full Marathon 42.2km (minimum age: 18 years old)

How long do I have to raise funds?

If you don't raise your fundraising commitment by the March 19th, 2027, your card will be charged the remaining balance.

Does Run for Chesed provide marathon training?

Yes. Our team trainer provides support and videos with tips and strategies for the race.

What does the marathon weekend include? (International Runners)

- Roundtrip airfare to Israel from anywhere in the US - 2 nights accommodation at the Neve Ilan Hotel - Inspirational Just One Chesed shabaton - JOC Chesed Day - JOC Swag

How much do I have to raise?

- International High School Runners- $4,200 - International Adult Runners- $5,000 Runners from Israel (Including Yeshiva and Seminary in Israel) - $500 - $1,250 - $1,850

If I'm unable to do the run for an unseeable reason and I have already raised funds what happens?

Unfortunately, we cannot return or roll over any funds. The money would be a donation to Just One Chesed.
